Live auction sales
On Ablor, you will find antiques and fine Art items auctioned during live auction sales held at the Hotel des Ventes de Metz, a major auction house in Eastern France.
Items listed in the catalog of a sale can be viewed in our showrooms during public exhibitions, usually one day before and on the day of the sale.
Auction dates, as well as viewing days, are available in the sales calendar.

How to buy at auction ?
During a live auction sale, lots are listed and sold in a given order. Each lot is sold to the highest bidder before the famous going, going, gone !
To buy one or several lots during an auction sale, you may :
- Come at the Hotel des Ventes de Metz and place bids yourself
- Give your telephone number and ask to be called in order to bid by telephone
- Place an absentee bid on this site, by fax or in our offices.
When you place an absentee bid on a lot, a person delegated by the Hotel des Ventes de Metz will place bids for you up to a maximum amount you set before the sale.
For buyers not yet registered with our services, some personal data and bank details are required for telephone bidding and absentee bids.
Buyer's premium
The following fees must be added to the hammer price : 15 % + VAT, 17.94 % with VAT included
