Georges JEANNIN started at the 1868 Salon where he appeared regularly. Member of the Artistes Francais in 1887 and third class Medal in 1878, second in 1888, bronze in 1889, Chevalier de la Legion D'Honneur in 1903. He was president of the Societe des peintres de fleurs.
